VILTIN Gallery

We opened with the aim to present a subjective overview of contemporary Hungarian art regardless of age-related priorities, but primarily focusing on representational or figurative trends, paying special attention to progressive initiatives. We also target on finding and patronising young artists helping them building an international career. Beside the overall gallery program, we also would like to give opportunity to organising art-related alternative events, working in cooperation with the Hungarian Young Artists Association and with the Approach Art Society, Pécs. We emphasize the importance of participating on international art fairs, as it strengthens and promotes young Hungarian talents and the presence of Hungarian fine art abroad.

The gallery located downtown on Pest side, on the border of the business and the gallery district, on the corner of Széchenyi street and Akadémia street.

The exhibition area (189 m²) is of three parts:  main room (85 + 48 m²), video room (26 m²) and project room (30 m²).
